Administrative Assistant 3 – Ft. Belvoir, VA 

Watermark Risk Management International has an exciting opportunity for a talented Administrative Assistant 3 to join our team and provide support in the capacity to triage Defense Threat Reduction Agency and DoD taskers sent to the Nuclear Enterprise (NE) Directorate.   

In this role you will: 

  • Assist with the daily operation of the NE Directorate Front Office  
  • Prepare briefing materials, papers, program plans, and other material 
  • Review technical writing of documentation for Directorate Departments  
  • Manage taskings and workflow for Directorate correspondence and suspense’s  
  • Track timely submissions and verify information submissions meet specified tasks 
  • Provide technical review of documents 
  • Assist with planning, organizing, executing, documenting and pre-, post-support of workshops, training, conferences and meetings  
  • Oversee Front Office calendars, taskers, office distribution 
  • Function as back-up to the Executive Assistant and the Military Assistant in overseeing the NE Front Office operations and assist NE Departments as needed. 
  • Manages the Enterprise Information System (EIS) for the Nuclear Enterprise (NE) Directorate – this includes receiving formal taskings (taskers) via the automated EIS system, reviewing each tasker for relevance to NE Departments, and distributing as necessary, with guidance adjusted as needed
  • Maintains an accurate SharePoint-based tracking system to manage all EIS taskers on a daily basis
  • Responsible for administrative management of NE’s EIS functions, such as updating Department user lists, Outlook distro lists, and coordinating with the DTRA Chief of Staff’s EIS content managers as necessary
  • Coordinates Directorate-level input with other NE Front Office staff, and provides a review of high-importance taskers/actions at weekly office sync meetings with the NE Chief of Staff


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.  10 years’ experience can be          substituted for the degree. 

Security Clearance: 

  • Active Secret Clearance 
  • Ability to obtain TS Clearance; candidate will be upgraded to TS


  • 3-5 Years administrative experience within a military/government organization 
  • Office administrative and organization skills  
  • Ability to work with Senior Leaders  
  • Command of the English language with (written and verbal) exceptional technical review abilities (grammar, punctuation, etc.)  
  • Ability to work independently and with groups 
  • Ability to work independently and with little supervision 
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite of tools 

Desired Qualifications: 

  • Knowledge of the Combatting Weapons of Mass Destruction mission areas and familiarity with the Nuclear Enterprise 
  • Proficient in the use of SharePoint
