Watermark Risk Management International, LLC is a Service Disabled, Veteran-Owned Small Business that was founded in early 2007 as Watermark Security International, LLC. In January 2008 we changed our name to better reflect our current and growing business offerings. The company was originally headquartered in Richmond, Virginia and relocated to offices in Fairfax, Virginia in 2008. Watermark was founded by two executives with considerable senior business management and development experience. Matt Branigan, founder and President, came to Watermark after serving as the Chief Security Officer for Brinks, Inc., one of the world’s largest risk management companies. Brad Moffett, founder and Executive Vice President, was a senior business developer and business strategist for Science Applications International Corporation.
In Watermark’s first year the company supported 18 major commercial and government clients including three Fortune 500 companies and four firms with significant security businesses. Since that time, we have supported over 65 clients with over 150 contracts from Fortune 200 companies to start-ups, and government organizations at every level. Watermark maintains a Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) auditable accounting and time-charging system.
