Watermark is thrilled to have accepted the award for the Best Places to Work 2019 in the Washington, D.C. Area for the second consecutive year at a special gala in May.

The award, bestowed by the Washington Business Journal, was presented to Watermark at a reception on May 16th at the MGM National Harbor Hotel in Maryland. Honorees were also featured in a special supplement in the May issue of the Washington Business Journal. Watermark was again recognized for flexibility, good communication, going above and beyond to foster an enjoyable and meaningful work environment for employees, and for company commitment to diversity and discussion.

Companies selected for inclusion in the Washington Business Journal report were judged based on the results of an employee survey administered by Quantum Market Research. The survey evaluated a variety of criteria such as team dynamics and effectiveness, trust in leadership, work engagement, and alignment with company goals.

Representing Watermark at the gala were President, Kevin Hodges, Vice President of Operations, Angela Hodges and Proposal Manager and Writer, Julie Moffett.
