PRESS RELEASE: Triangle, VA. February 4, 2021. Watermark Risk Management International, LLC announced today the company has donated $20,000 to the charitable program, Supporting Partnerships and Resources for Kids (SPARK). SPARK is the education foundation for Prince William County Public Schools in Virginia. Through community and business partnerships, SPARK provides programs and initiatives to local schools that they may not otherwise have.

Watermark donated specifically to Graham Park Middle School and Triangle Elementary School, both of which are located near the company headquarters. The donation will go toward a special diversity literacy program at Triangle ES, as well as provide much-needed school supplies and technology support at both schools during remote learning and when the students return to school.

Watermark’s President, Kevin Hodges, said: “We are very pleased we could partner with SPARK this year to help fill the gaps in resources for Triangle Elementary School and Graham Park Middle School. Today’s competitive environment demands quality education, even at an early age. We see education as one of the great equalizers in helping young people achieve success, and Watermark is deeply committed to supporting students and our community. We look forward to a long relationship with SPARK.”

Ms. Davis stated both schools were deeply grateful for the donation. Maria Ramadane, Principal of Graham Park Middle School, said, “This is a wonderful surprise!”

“SPARK is proud to partner with supportive organizations like Watermark Risk Management International, to provide resources to our teachers and students,” Dawn S. Davis, the Director of Community Outreach, Business Partnerships and Philanthropy, and the Executive Director of SPARK stated. “We look forward to continuing this partnership.”

Several educational programs are managed through SPARK to include the Virginia Student Training and Refurbishment Program, better known as VA STAR, Smart Beginnings, an Early Childhood Education Initiative, and the Robotics Program.
