WATERMARK RECEIVES 2021 HIRE VETS GOLD MEDALLION AWARD FROM THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF LABOR

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE. Nov. 17, 2021, Triangle, VA. U.S. Secretary of Labor Martin J. Walsh recognized Watermark Risk Management International, LLC as one of the recipients of the 2021 HIRE Vets Medallion Award during a virtual award ceremony presented by U.S. Department of Labor last Thursday on Veteran’s Day. Watermark was presented with the Gold Award after applying earlier this year. The Honoring Investments in Recruiting and Employing (HIRE) American Military Veterans Act Medallion Program is the only federal award program that recognizes employers who successfully recruit, hire, and retain veterans.

“Watermark is proud to receive this award for the second year in a row,” said Kevin Hodges, President of Watermark. “This recognition will hopefully let transitioning veterans know we are fully committed to hiring and working with them. Recipients of the 2021 HIRE Vets Medallion Award meet rigorous employment and veteran integration assistance criteria, including veteran hiring and retention percentages; availability of veteran-specific resources; leadership programming for veterans; dedicated human resource efforts; pay compensation and tuition assistance programs for veterans.
