Watermark Mandatory Fun Day #2022

Watermark recently wrapped up its All-Hands Meeting in Alexandria, VA where employees from Virginia, DC and nine other states gathered to meet each other, exchange ideas, brainstorm, and have fun. In addition to attending sessions on various business-related aspects of Watermark, employees engaged in fun activities such as a dinner at the wharf, a rock-n-roll themed gala, and a fun day which included guided tours of the Korean, Vietnam, and World War II memorials, as well as Arlington Cemetery where we paid our respects to those who served in our nation’s defense.

“It’s important to me that we can all come together and talk so our team members understand what motivates us as a company,” Kevin Hodges, President of Watermark, said. “We support vital national security objectives, helping to protect our nation and citizens from behind the scenes. We are a Service-Disabled, Veteran-Owned Small Business, and many of us at Watermark have already served in the military and are honored to continue to serve the nation through Watermark. Our team members recognize the importance of their work, and, in turn, we take good care of them with excellent benefits, strong corporate support, and recognition for work well done. That’s how we’ve built our culture at Watermark and it’s how we’re able to consistently supply a highly qualified, happy, and valued workforce to our clients.”

The Rock-n-Roll T-shirt Dinner and Gala was a highlight of the weekend during which team members wore their favorite rock-n-roll T-shirt and tenure awards were presented. Fabulous dueling pianos played a wide selection of rock tunes while Watermark danced, sang, and took pictures at a photo booth.

One of Watermark’s newest employees, Technical Recruiter, Chloe Allen, said, “The entire event was amazing. I met so many people with such diverse and interesting backgrounds, yet we all got along so well and laughed a lot. Watermark is less like an employer and more like a family. It was absolutely fantastic.”
